Vyšetrovateľ Okresného riaditeľstva Policajného zboru v Kežmarku vzniesol obvinenie trom osobám z obce Veľká Lomnica, vo veku 16,20,24 rokov a to zo zločinu lúpeže, zo zločinu vydierania a z trestného činu obmedzovania osobnej slobody. Všetky skutky boli spáchané formou spolupáchateľstva. Mladíci dňa 12.02.2023 popoludní, neoprávnene vstúpili na pozemok jedného z rodinných domov v obci Veľká Lomnica a zo zadnej časti vošli do domu. Majiteľovi sa čosi nepozdávalo a tak vošiel do domu skontrolovať situáciu, našiel tam všetkých troch. 16 ročný chlapec držal v ruke nôž a od muža žiadali peniaze, alkohol a cigarety.
Muž im dal fľašu tvrdého alkoholu, pivo a cigarety. Mladíci muža potom posadili do obývacej miestnosti a chlapec ho nožom ohrozoval, vyhrážal sa mu, že ak sa pohne, nožom mu rozpára brucho a podreže mu krk. Prehľadali domu, a čo našli to vzali. Išlo o 165,- Eur, rôzne vybavenie domu, pracovné náradie, oblečenie a mobilný telefón. Po niekoľkých hodinách všetci traja z domu odišli, nezabudli ale mužovi povedať, že ak ich prezradí, tak si ho počkajú a dobijú ho na smrť. Pri odchode ešte udreli muža do hlavy.
Okresný vyšetrovateľ na obvinených spracoval podnet na podanie návrhu na ich väzobné stíhanie (s čím sa sudca stotožnil).
